The Oral History Handbook

The Oral History Handbook is the bible for oral historians. First published by the South Australian Branch of the Oral History Association in 1983, it has been in print ever since, and is well established as the national standard.  The latest edition has information about digital recorders.  The author draws on more than 25 years’ experience of practising and teaching oral history techniques and preserving sound recordings.  There are chapters on:
