Professor Michael Tsianikas recounts his early life growing up in the mountains in the remote village of Anatoly in mainland Greece. He discusses his early education and development of his academic career, his travels throughout Europe and the cultural and literary connections between Greece and France. He also focuses on his role in establishing the Department of Modern Greek at Flinders University, and the implementation of Logos, the internationally recognised on line program for the study of Greek language and culture.
